Come on chaps have a bit of faith lol. They will have to play allot better than last night mind all though i know it wasn't our strongest team. I think playing Rooney up front on his own would probably work best

Quite simply no they won't. They just cant compete with the continental style of football other teams possess.

We could win the World Cup if all our players are on top form so:

Ferdinand has still not recovered from injury
Terry, Cole and Lampard have still to reach top form this year- there minds are elsewhere
Gerrard is not the world beating performer that he was last year
Rooney has been Europes best striker- but he may be carrying an injury
Barrie may not recover from injury and may miss the competition
Walcott is still not fully fit, same with Joe Cole

And the goalkeeper (whoever he is) will for sure make a stupid blunder

So all things considered, we are bound to win it

It's a NO from me, I of course want to see us do it but know that making it to the final and winning it is going to be hard.

Here is how I see it:
QFs Exit - Gutted
SFs Exit -Most likely and wouldn't be upset at all really, where we deserve to finish
Runners Up - Gutted, where is the nearest hole
Winners - Trek to London for the parade

Fabs tactics Monday night were ridiculous.

Played Stevie G on the LEFT who cant play there at all
Had more Joy down the left in the last 3 minutes when ADAM JOHNSON come on
Thought playing Peter Crouch up front with Wayne Rooney didn't pay off
And as for Michael Carrick il say no more

One last thing why the hell was Joe Cole classed for a rest amongst the other Chelsea lads fair enough Lamps n JT but am sure Joe would of loved to be out there to impress considering hes not had many games

No chance with Capello doing what all england managers do and picking his favourites and discriminating against others because they don't play for a big club. What happened to the i won't take players who are not playing for their clubs and the i won't pick players that are injured.

Well if my predictions are correct then our route to the final would be:
R16: Serbia
QF: Brazil
SF: Holland
F: Spain

Serbia/Australia/Ghana/Germany (take your pick) would be a tough enough match but we should get past them (unless it's the Germans)

Really can't see us beating Brazil, who'll go on to win it me thinks

And even if we did beat Brazil...Holland AND Spain (probably)! Sorry lads but I just don't think we're good enough unfortunately

i'd be proud as punch if england did manage to win, but i just can't see it happening, something shitty is bound to happen at some point - either an injury or red card or shocking refereeing decision. besides, i've got £25 on holland at 12-1

England can't play Brazil in the quarter finals because of the way the draw works we can only play someone from groups a,b,c,d until the semi-finals.
