World seniors championship

There are loads of 80's and 90's Professionals who could be playing in the word seniors instead of some of these totally unknown amateurs. Davis, Parrott, McManus, Ebdon & Foulds among others.

Jimmy White bt Peter Lines 4-1

At what age do you class snooker players senior? I remember Fred Davis playing in the world championship at 77!!
It's a shame shame Tony Drago pulled out, He's probably was one of the few overseas players that qualified to the Crucible back in the day and a pity Thorburn isn't involved wasn't Thorburn's 147 against Drago?. I wonder if there is more exciting snooker in this tournament than the actual thing!!

The Thorburn 147 was against Terry Griffiths in 1983.

Hendry hit 8 reds and 8 blacks in his 2nd frame with White, then broke down.

Dennis did something similar in his match, but broke down after 2 reds and 2 blacks

You have to be over 40 to play in the senior events.
