well done amir khan

Well obviously hagman is a huge fan of Khan and really doesn't seem to like people talking negatively about him. Dude just deal with the fact that whoever it is, there is going to be people that have got a problem with them. My problem is that he was bigheaded, just before the Prescott fight he said in an interview in the buildup "If anybody beats me then it will be the equivalent of winning a world title to them because I am such a big boxer". He had not proven himself at all at that point. I do not need any reason other than that to think he is way too cocky, it proved it. But when somebody has proven themselves I am less bothered that they are bigheaded, like with Floyd Mayweather Jnr, SO cocky but he has always proven himself so there is a begrudging respect and I don't care he is so arrogant as much. Give it a while and MAYBE I will feel the same about Khan.

Oh yeah and so far I have not seen any evidence that Khan has not got a glass jaw, he has been down many times. His speed and guarding make up for it most of the time but it won't work all the time.

To be honest, I didn't think Amir would win, but he proved me wrong.

I think he can only get better and better under Freddie Roach.
Roach said after the fight it took him 8 years to get Pacqiauo to where he is now, so for amir khan to be world champ in one year is very impressive. I think he will improve further and become a big player in boxing.

Also on the subject, i think Nathan Cleverley who faught in itv 4 is a very impressive fighter with lots of potential to go a long way in the future, also the shear power of tyson fury, he could do ok with himself if he takes it seriously.
The future for british boxing is looking pretty good i would say.

Ritchie's right about Nathan Cleverley because that kid has got all the potential to be an outstanding World Champion in years to come, he's the real deal. Kell Brook is another guy who has bags of talent and is the best fighter to come out of the Ingle stable since Naz.
