Southgate gets a medal for being a loser! A friggin knighthood ... I could maybe stomach one of the chocolate medals, but a friggin knighthood .. how ... why!!
This is a manager so in demand and so well thought of, that to my knowledge he has had no job offers from any leading team since stepping down.

This award alone shows how worthless and devalued a knighthood has become these days.
Whether you agree with his politics or not, at least Sadiq Khan has a long history of serving in public office. An argument can at least be made that he has 'earnt' his nomination, and yet everyone is piling in on Khan, but Southgate the horse-faced loser gets away with it!

Sadiq Khan lives in Tooting, which is part of the London Borough of Wandsworth.

I wasn't referring to where Khan lived I was referring to the one who actually made the decision to give him a knighthood. I don't think we have seen the last of this in the media.

I doubt if even having a knighthood is going to make him sought after I did wonder if part of it was also awarded for his Pizza hut commercials
I would think I wouldn't be surprised if he ever got a job offer to manage the Saudi Arabian national team to qualify for the 2026 WC. I am sure he said he was taking some time away from football when he stepped down.

I would agree it does show how worthless at time these honours have become and I often wonder if at any point we the public should be allowed to have a say in any final decision so the that right people are honoured and the honours carry some value.

think the year off was to pacify united fans who were concerned he was going to be managine them
