Exactly. He is still a top player for his age , he just struggles with top guys like Alcaraz and Sinner now , it's like Nadal he had to retire because of injuries or Federer because of declining.

Novak to still be at the top of his game or near it for a 38 year old is amazing , name another 30 + sportsman who can do that , there ain't many.

Got me thinking as a fan of numerous sports. Thought of a list of names and found some of them were under 30 but equally found some 30 or over still doing their stuff pretty well .
The list isn't exactly huge but there are still some relative oldies if you can call 30+ old. I feel ancient compared to most of this lot
