It will probably take an open revolt of the backbenchers to get her out, but I doubt many will do so simply many probably won't stomach another leadership contest so soon and they know that the public won't stand for another leader/PM forced on them, unless they called a snap election immediately after winning. They know or realise that they need their mandate to be vindicated by a General Election to stand any chance of getting legislation through. I wouldn't be surprised if Parliament ends up totally paralysed by Christmas where budget after budget simply fails at the first hurdle.

The problem for the Tories is that if they remove Truss now they would have to have a General Election pretty soon afterwards, and in that election they would lose very badly. In essence, it would be like Turkeys voting for Christmas. However, if they try to tough it out while everything is going to wreck and ruin, with power cuts, sky high food prices, sky high energy prices, peoples homes getting repossessed, high rents/mortgages, an overstretched NHS, low pay, benefit cuts, cuts to pensions, job losses, etc they (the Tories) will have complete ownership of the mess, and scale of their defeat will only be greater. Which means the Tories will not be out of power at the next election, but they lose three or four elections afterwards.

When I looked at he pictures of her on the front pages it certainly showed that: - A)Sir Graham Brady had clearly said something to her that probably was the worst news she she didn't want to hear. B) she had a decision to make. C) she was hit hard by Hunt the Cunt's plan & the way he tore up her mini budget.

If there's one constant in British Politics it's that one Party fucks up badly, loses an election and the electorate blames the next bunch of idiots for trying to sort it out.

If the Conservatives had any sense they'd call an election now and leave the poisoned chalice to Starmer & Co.

But they don't have any sense so on we go

That will signal the end of the Tories as it's the grey vote who keep them in power.
