- Lee Cattermole, whose 50 bookings in 151 matches give him the lowest appearances-to-bookings ratio in league history.

Kevin Davies is unique among the top 20 in that he is a striker, whereas the rest of the 20 are defenders and midfielders. The second worst-behaved striker is Wayne Rooney with 65 bookings.

I'm betting Check Tiote makes that list in record time, but I wouldn't swap him out of the Newcastle team
