Denis Norden R.I.P

Tv host and comedy writer Denis Norden has passed away at the age of 96.

King of the clipboard on the TV programme 'It will be Alright on the Night'
He was a top comedy writer and quiz host.

A great comic writer with & without Frank Muir, a great presenter and a nice, humourous guy. RIP

Very sad but he had good innings and always funny. Back in the day he was a occasional guest on Call My Bluff when the team captains were his writing partner Frank Muir and Patrick Campbell and was always funny.

With Frank Muir he wrote the classic comedy sketch Balham, Gateway to the South pls a huge amount for Jimmy Edwards

We were after it was published that he died discussing hi and one of the guys said he was always funny but his appearances on Call My Bluff was a marker for the shows like Have I got News For You and Mock the Week

RIP Dennis you made us all laugh
